Royle International - Company History

Royle International Foods was formed in 1989 as an off-shoot of Unit Meats, a company specializing in the Export of British Meats to many parts of the world.

From the beginning Royle was very much at the fore of the introduction of British Foods to European, Asian and Third World Countries.

After enquiries from British Expatriates living in Spain Royle became the first British company to export Traditional British Sausage and Wiltshire Cured bacon directly to Spain.

Following on from this lead the company expanded by supplying other foodstuffs, particularly for the Catering and Snack markets.

Today Royle International Foods is proud to be recognised as one of the UK's leading export houses. We now operate offices in Spain, France and Estonia and have expanded our product range to over 3000 lines of food and drink products.

Many companies have benefited from the expertise provided by Royle International including Unilever Bestfoods, E & J Gallo, Abbeyvale Bakeries, Walkers Snackfoods Ltd, Greenhalgh's Bakery, Western Wines and McCain.
